Government policies on Eclampsia in Bangladesh and the impact on the right to health

Case study using the Health Rights of Women Assessment Instrument. The case study focusses on maternal health policies in Bangladesh and their impact on the right to health of women. More particularly the focus is on Eclampsia as a major problem causing maternal mortality and morbidity. In the six steps of the Health Rights of Women Assessment Instrument the polcies and their impact analysed. Suggestions for better polcies are also given.

The case study provides a very useful example of the use of HeRWAI.
