Monitoring Women's Rights
This distance learning course by Human Rights Education Associates (HREA), is a basic introduction to measuring and monitoring the status of women and gender equality. The course will address the the full cycle of monitoring including tool development, methodologies for carrying out monitoring; and the application of results for improving the respect, protection and realisation of women's human rights.
The course is offered over a 10-week period, beginning on 4 February 2009. The course is intented for human rights, women's rights staff of NGO's, intergovernmental and government agencies, women's advocates and related professionals.
