Naripokkho

Naripokko works to raise public awareness about the social, cultural and economic status of women in the country. Through its programs it seeks to transform the situation of women. Under the slogan "women's rights as human rights" Naripokkho argues that: (1) violence against women is a violation of women's basic human rights; and (2) that legal, constitutional and institutional measures violate women's human rights.

HRIA activities

Naripokkho performed a case study on maternal health in Bangladesh. The case study aimed at testing the Health Rights of Women Assessment Instrument (HeRWAI).
