Human Rights Watch World Report 2008

This report summarises the human rights issues worldwide, in more than 75 countries in the year 2007. The factors which have determined the focus of this report are the number of people affected and the severity of abuse, access to the country and the availability of information about it, the susceptibility of abusive forces to influence, and the importance of addressing certain thematic concerns and of reinforcing the work of local rights organisations.
