Results Framework
A Results Framework is a tool to assist with achieving and measuring specific objectives at the sector, country or regional level. Usually it is presented as a diagram. The Results Framework uses the objective tree approach. The Results Framework has a lot in common with the Logical Framework Approach.
Two features of a Results Framework that are critical to its strength as a performance measurement tool are its
- big picture perspective;
- Cause and Effect Logic.
The Results Framework can be used as a planning tool and a management/monitoring tool. It has additional benefits in terms of communication. (Source: AusGuide)
