Organisations and individuals can use it to learn about Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA); to find publications, toolsets and reports; to discuss new developments and best practices; and to contribute their own expertises directly to the growing HRIA knowledge base. The material is presented through a variety of easy-to-navigate menus which are designed to facilitate first-time visitors as well as regular users.
Intended users
The Human Rights Impact Resource Centre is the primary portal for NGOs, academics, governments, intergovernmental agencies and businesses looking for information on Human Rights Impact Assessment. It is a capacity building tool for those who are new to the concept of HRIA or are looking for ways to assess the human rights impact of policies, programmes or projects.
